Defend the Honor of the Prophet (s.a.w.)

DEFEND THE HONOR OF OUR BELOVED MESSENGER MUHAMMAD (SAW)

The prophet peace be upon him must be defended at all times from the vicious and unfound attacks against his pure personality. As we all know by now, the Jylland-Posten which is a major newspaper in Denmark as published 12 drawings depicting our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) as a terrorist, and to this day the Danish gov't refused to stop this, this is not freedom of speech, this is hate against the more than 1 billion Muslims around the world.

If we look at the Qur’an in Surat at-toubah:

"And if you ask them, they will surely say, 'We were only conversing and playing.' Say: 'Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?' Make no excuse; you have disbelieved [i.e. rejected faith] after your belief." [9:65-66].

So to disregard the prophet as a Muslim would be to reject our basic Aqeedah and Emaan. These publicity stunts are nothing short of media tricks and by being offended, we , Muslims, are serving their purpose. Yes it is true that non-believers have mocked, degraded and insulted the prophet, Muslims and Islam throughout history but what do you do is the question. We have to take action brothers and sisters, especially the Muslims who live in the west. You see if we don't act we will be summoned up one day and asked why we did not intervene and protected and defended the prophets integrity and honor, it's a major sin in itself a lack of compassion and care to the Prophet(Saw). The above verse clearly states that mocking Allah, His verses and His Messenger constitutes kufr, so that applies even more so to insulting. The verse also indicates that whoever belittles the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is also a kaafir, whether he was serious or joking.

The second issue is: if a person who insulted the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) repents, should his repentance be accepted or not? The scholars have agreed that if such a person repents sincerely and regrets what he has done, this repentance will benefit him on the Day of Resurrection and Allaah will forgive him. Al-Saarim al-Maslool, 2/438 If he repents sincerely and regrets what he has done, this repentance will benefit him on the Day of Resurrection and Allaah will forgive him.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) wrote a valuable book on this matter, entitled al-Saarim al-Maslool ‘ala Shaatim al-Rasool which every believer should read, especially in these times when a lot of hypocrites and heretics dare to insult the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) because they see that the Muslims are careless and feel little protective jealousy towards their religion and their Prophet, and they do not implement the shar’i punishment which would deter these people and their ilk from committing this act of blatant kufr.

Insulting the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is one of the worst of forbidden actions, and it constitutes kufr and apostasy from Islam, according to scholarly consensus, whether done seriously or in jest. The Scholars differ as to whether repentance should be accepted in this world.
More and more Muslim countries are joining to boycott companies which are selling Danish, Norwegian, French, German products. We must continue this boycott till their government apologize for the CRIME they have committed against Our AQEEDAH and Our Emaan.

A boycott is good but we need more drastic actions by calling the French, German, Danish and Norwegian consulates and embassies that we will NEVER sit idol while attacking our fundamental belief and express our feeling and emotions.
We must go to their consulates and embassies and have demonstrations and speak up against their CRIME committed against our Belief. We cannot be silent. It is HARAM to be silent against Evil. Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said,

"By Him in Whose Hand my life is, you either enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly soon send His punishment to you. Then you will make supplication and it will not be accepted".[At-Tirmidhi].

How can we claim to be Muslims and the follower of Muhammad(saw) if we cannot stand up and speak up for His honor? His(saw) honor is violated. Where is our love for our beloved Messenger(saw)? We’re supposed to consider the Messenger(saw) of Allah(swt) more than ourselves and our families. Allah(azza wa jall) says in translation of the meaning of the Qur'an,

"Say: If your fathers or your sons or your brothers or your wives or your tribe, or any wealth you have acquired, or any business you fear may slump, or any house which pleases you, are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and doing struggle in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His command. Allah does not guide people who are Zalimoon (transgressors).”(9:24)

We need to ask a Question to ourselves where do we stand in-terms of this above Aya? If that was someone making fun of your mother, your sister, your daughter, your father , what would you do? While our Emaan, our Tawheed demands from us to sacrifice everything to be loyal to Allah and His Messenger.

Speak-up and don’t be silent.

Remember there is no Life or Dignity without Islam

A Time for Thought.
A Time for Change.
A Time for Action.

We must bring change through an intellectual and a political struggle-(non-violent means).
